Terms and Conditions
Please review the following terms and conditions governing gift cards, electronic gift cards, and gift certificates issued by Topher's Paw Co. LLC.
1. Gift Cards
Gift Cards Purchased January 12, 2025 through August 28, 2025
Validity and Expiration: Gift Cards, eGift Cards, and Gift Certificates are valid for five (5) years from the original purchase date. All remaining value will be forfeited upon expiration.
Non-Refundable: All Gift Card purchases are non-refundable.
Lost or Stolen Cards: Topher's Paw Co. does not replace lost, misplaced, or stolen Gift Cards.
2. Gift Card Policy
Gift Cards Purchased August 29, 2025 and After
Final Sale: All purchases of physical and electronic gift cards ("Gift Cards") are final. Gift Cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
Treatment as Cash: Gift Cards should be safeguarded as you would cash. Topher's Paw Co. is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed, deleted, or misplaced Gift Cards, and such cards will not be reissued or replaced under any circumstances.
No Lookup or Replacement: Topher's Paw Co. does not have the ability to look up Gift Card numbers or balances and cannot reissue Gift Cards, even if proof of purchase is provided.
Electronic Gift Cards: For eGift Cards purchased online, customers must retain the original email containing the Gift Card number, barcode, or QR code. A purchase receipt or order confirmation alone is not sufficient for redemption. Redemption requires presentation of the valid Gift Card code as issued.
Expiration: Gift Cards are valid for five (5) years from the date of purchase, in compliance with applicable law. Any remaining balance after expiration will be forfeited.
Agreement to Terms: Purchase or use of a Gift Card constitutes acceptance of this policy.
3. eGift Card Migration from Square to Gift Up
Effective October 1, 2026, Topher's Paw Co. migrated all previously issued Square eGift Cards to Gift Up due to the discontinuation of our Square integration with our point-of-sale (POS) system.
Important: This migration does not change, extend, renew, or reset the original expiration date or any previously established terms and conditions of the eGift Card.
- Original Expiration Date: The existing five (5) year expiration period remains based on the original date of purchase through Square, not the date of migration to Gift Up.
- Proof of Gift Card: Customers must retain and present their original Square eGift Card, including its valid 16-digit gift card number or scannable barcode, at the time of redemption.
- Existing Balances: Any remaining eligible balance was transferred to Gift Up and remains subject to the original terms and conditions.
- No Replacement Cards: The migration does not constitute the issuance of a new gift card. Lost, deleted, or otherwise unavailable original Square eGift Cards will not be replaced.
- Terms and Conditions: All original purchase terms, redemption restrictions, and applicable conditions remain unchanged following the migration.
This transition is administrative only and is intended to ensure continued acceptance and redemption of previously issued Square eGift Cards through our current POS system.
